Solid & Striped Launches Ready-to-Wear with Killer Knit Sets

July 2024 · 2 minute read

Solid & Striped, best known for its swim, has been dipping a toe into the ready-to-wear game, but it's diving full in for fall. We first took notice of the brand when we spotted its striped one-pieces and haven't looked back. That same sense for classic prep endures with this latest launch—but with a sexier jet-set twist.

"Like most Solid & Striped pieces, the fall 2022 collection is inspired by nostalgia," Sarah Landman, CEO of Solid & Striped, tells BAZAAR.com. "It channels the spirit of '70s style icons, jet-setters, and partygoers like Bianca Jagger and Jerry Hall, highlighting classic styles that are easy to layer, mix, match, and transition as the seasons and surroundings change."

Why go all in on a clothing collection now? "We've seen a great deal of success with our beachwear over the past few seasons, so we decided it was the right time to expand our offering into true RTW, launching our first fall collection," Landman says. "We have translated best-selling swim silhouettes into non-swim styles and have applied iconic design details from beachwear to our new RTW."
