Erin Little is an award-winning American meteorologist and journalist for KMBC- TV.

Erin is originally from Lee’s Summit, Missouri. She attended the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1997 and graduated with a B.S in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology.
Her first meteorologist stint was with KOMU-TV as a weekend evening meteorologist right after graduation.
She then moved to WOI-TV in Des Moines, Iowa, as a weekday morning Meteorologist & Reporter.
Erin later headed to KMBC-TV in Kansas City, Missouri, followed by a year at KDVR – Fox31 before returning to KMBC.
After a good ten years at KMBC, Erin left in January 2017. She became a director at the Shawnee Mission School Board, heading district communications operations. This job did not dim her love for broadcasting, and Erin was back on air as a reporter and meteorologist for the KCTV5 News team in March 2018. Currently, she is employed as the Chief Meteorologist there.
