More than a year after Arsenal appointed Mikel Arteta as manager, the club appears to be slumping further under the former midfielder.
Arteta has managed the Gunners in 49 matches since his arrival from Man City where he was Pep Guardiola's assistant.
And despite helping the north Londoners win two titles including the FA Cup during his short spell, statistics show there is no improvement in results.
In fact, the Emirates outfit is actually struggling even more under the former midfielder compared to his predecessor, Unai Emery.
Emery spent 18 months at the helm of affairs at Arsenal before he unceremoniously kicked out for underperforming.

But fast forward to post-Emery, statistics show there has not been any improvement, with Arteta overseeing the club's worst patch since 1974 earlier in the 2020/21 season.
The north London-based club enjoyed a mini-revival in early 2021, but it was not enough to help them climb up the table as they currently sit ninth, a massive 29 points behind league leaders, Man City.
On Sunday, March 21, they slipped to 3-0 down within just 30 minutes against West Ham United, before they sprung a comeback to snatch a point.
With the side looking increasingly likely to miss out on a place on European football next season, stats show Arteta is performing worse than Emery who was dubbed a flop during his tenure.
Emery oversaw 51 matches as Arsenal boss, collecting 25 wins and 13 defeats to rack up 88 points in total.
Arteta, who is closing in on 50 games looks unlikely to match Emery's point haul, having collected a total of 75 points with 21 wins and 16 losses.

Stats further reveal Emery, who is currently the Villarreal manager, won an average of 1.73 points per game compared to Arteta's 1.53.
The former's win rate was also better at 49 per cent compared to the current boss's 43 per cent.
Despite the stunning record, Arsenal look set to have Arteta as boss beyond this season, with club chiefs understood to be looking to the future.
